The Minaret of Freedom Institute announces the availability of an internship for three months during the summer or other season for a bright Muslim college student, willing to volunteer between 20 and 30 hours per week. Conditions: Must know English. Must have transportation; must be willing and able to use a computer for word processing; must behave in a professional, Islamic manner. Because the office space is in the Washington, DC area, only students attending local schools or taking time off from their studies should apply. Local travel, other than commuting, will be reimbursed. It is preferred, but not necessary. that the applicant have a car available.
Period of assignment: three months.
Duties: Compile "News and Analysis" blog, assist president in
research, proofreading, update web site, develop social media,
vet email and cleric work. Opportunity for original research.
